Terms of Service

Last updated: June 10, 2026

These terms ("Terms") govern your use of the Hudson AI service ("Service") provided by Hudson AI ("we", "us"). By creating an account or running a Hudson session you agree to them.

1. The Service

Hudson is an AI-powered onboarding and demo platform. It hosts live video conversations between an AI persona and your visitors, captures recordings and transcripts, and produces structured outcome reports.

2. Account and workspace

You are responsible for activity on your workspace, including content you upload (knowledge documents, branding, persona configuration) and the conduct of teammates you invite. Keep your credentials confidential and notify us promptly of any suspected breach.

3. Acceptable use

You will not:

  • Use Hudson to deceive visitors about whether they are talking to an AI.
  • Run sessions without obtaining valid consent to recording where law requires it.
  • Upload knowledge or persona content that infringes third-party IP or contains illegal material.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.

4. Visitor consent

Before each session, Hudson shows the visitor your workspace's consent line and gives them a "Delete this session" link in the footer. You are responsible for making that consent line accurate for your jurisdiction.

5. Fees and billing

Plans, included sessions, and overage rates are listed on the pricing page. Sessions under 30 seconds don't count toward your cap. With auto-overage on, extra sessions are billed at the rate shown on your plan; with hard-stop on, sessions are blocked once you hit the cap.

Annual subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel monthly subscriptions at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.

6. Data and privacy

Our handling of your and your visitors' data is described in the Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference. We will not use your workspace content to train cross-customer models without an explicit signed addendum.

The Privacy Policy describes our sub-processors by category (video-AI provider, database & storage provider, edge runtime provider, etc.) rather than by name. A current, named sub-processor list — with entity, jurisdiction, and purpose — is available on request under NDA at privacy@hudson.ai, and is included in the DPA for enterprise customers. We will notify workspace owners by email at least 14 days before adding or replacing a sub-processor.

7. Service availability

We target 99.9% monthly uptime for paid plans, measured at the session-start API. Planned maintenance is announced at least 48h ahead. There is no SLA on the free trial.

8. Warranties and disclaimers

Hudson is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You acknowledge that LLM outputs can be wrong and that you must review session insights before acting on them.

9. Limitation of liability

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate for material breach with 30 days written notice if the breach is uncured. We may suspend the Service immediately for security reasons or non-payment. On termination, we delete workspace data within 30 days unless a longer period is required by law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes go to the courts of London, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes get 14 days' notice to workspace owners by email. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
